ADJECTIVE
What is Adjective? A word that denotes the fault, quality, status, number and quantity of a Noun or a Pronoun, while that word is called Adjective.
Example:
1> He is an intelligent boy. (Affirmative)
2> He is not a intelligent boy.(Negative)
3> Is he an intelligent boy? (Interrogative)
4> Isn't he an intelligent boy? (Negative Interrogative)
5> This is a new blog.
Adjectives are generally divided into four categories. Namely:
1> Adjective of quality
2> Adjective of quantity
3> Adjective of number
4> Pronominal Adjective
Adjective of quality : Adjective is the Adjective of quality which refers to the fault, quality or condition of a person or object.
Examples: new (this is a new blog.),
old, good, ill etc.
Adjective of quantity : Adjective is the Adjective of quantity, which refers to the object of the object.
Example: some, (The boy has some english book.)
many, enough, much etc.
Adjective of number : Adjective is the adjective of a number, which refers to the number of a person or object.
Examples: Twenty, one, two, hundred etc.
Pronominal Adjective : The Adjective that connects with the Noun before a Noun is called the Adominative Adjective.
Example: 1> This is my blog.
2> Is that your mobile?
3> Hi, I am your friend.
NOTE: Here, My, Your and Your are connected to them before Noun Blog, Mobile and Friend respectively, so these are Pronominal Adjective or adjective adjectives.
